Living in the area for twelve years, dedicated nurse Audrey Hochroth and ambitious contractor Sal Barone found themselves tirelessly searching for a place to dine. They searched and searched, feeling the neighborhood's restaurants were lacking a certain pizazz. Tired of trekking to Manhattan for a decent steak, when a spot on the corner of Lexington Avenue became available,
they seized the opportunity.
Now in their third year of business, Augie's Prime Cut owners, Audrey Hochroth and Sal Barone, run a thriving steakhouse in Mohegan Lake, NY. Augie's provides the highest quality of both meat and seafood to its customers. Prime rib, porterhouse steaks, and fresh lobster from the tank are among customer favorites, and are usually topped off with a selection from Augie's extensive wine and martini list. Augie's guarantees top tier professional staff and an enjoyable ambience to provide guests

Augie's frequently hosts events to recognize its customer appreciation, making days like Lobsterfest, Augie's Birthday and Anniversary Party community favorites. Augie's also partakes in charitable events throughout the year for organizations such as Toys for Tots, Support Connection for Breast Cancer Awareness, and hosts an annual summer golf outing to benefit Autism Speaks. Augie's always has its doors open to charities and school functions, their reputation for never saying no has made them an established and instrumental giving part of the community.
